Just as the weather showed signs of the rainy season leaving, we had a very impressive thunderstorm last night. The sky grew black as the clouds rolled in with flashes from the distance. The flashes came closer and closer until they were right on top of us. There were numerous, drawn out thunder strikes that came one right after the other. This was probably the most impressive thunderstorm I've seen here. There has been many thunderstorms, but I can't remember seeing one that had three to four thunderstrikes hit within miliseconds of each other. It was something awesome! After about 10 minutes, the thunderstrikes started to fade away and we were left with a black sky with flashes of lightning to watch while the rains filled the streets turning them into rivers. WWOOWW!!! This was exciting and I wish you all could have been here!
