Pastors' Perspectives 21.2

Every six months, the pastors that are connected to our ministry share an bi-annual update from their perspective on what the Lord is doing in their areas of ministry to let you know what's going on and how to pray. Your investment is making progress in the Kingdom of God. Thank you for your donations and prayers!

 LETTER OF THANKS

Blessings to all of you who make it possible for the Kingdom of God to be extended through the various was you support us, such as time, prayer, and finances, since these things are necessary for such growth. I tell you that thanks to those means, here in the ministry (Centro Cristiano and La Cofradía United) we have continued to see growth through the materials produced by the writer Andrew Wommack, specifically the study Spirit, Soul, and Body. We have implemented this study indirectly in the Sunday services. We planned to start at the beginning of the year so that the church would know its identity and position in Christ and understand how they function in the relationship between spirit, soul, and body.

On June 1, we also began this class in the school, and it meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We have 18 to 23 students, both local and from Rosamorada and El Tigre (towns north of Cofradía), who attend each week. I am taking advantage of this moment to ask for your prayers because this study really hits the bullseye; for this reason we consider it to be essential for those who take it to understand how we are wired and to recognize that in their spirit they are sanctified and perfected. We especially want them to understand what Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:18–20.

I hope also that over the rest of the year the church in general will gain a better understanding of the good that is in each one of us in Christ Jesus and how to allow those things to be manifest. I also ask for prayers that the church continue to grow in leadership and healthy structure, that it would be sustainable in both.

Thank you so much for your unconditional support. May you all be greatly blessed!

Sincerely,

Pastor Goyo, wife, and family

LETTER OF THANKS

It is always a pleasure to greet you and let you know what God is doing in our lives and ministries. Greetings! I hope you are well, just as we are at this time.

We have taken two discipleship classes that have taken our lives to another level of understanding of who we are children of God. One of those classes is Spirit, Soul, and Body by Andrew Wommack, and it has helped me to understand how God sees me and how He relates with me in my spirit, as well as how to grow in my soul through the renewing of my mind by the Word of God. The other course is The Balance between Faith and Grace by the same author. That one has helped me to maintain a balance between these two powerful forces in order to better use the resources God has given me, rather than relying on my own, by accepting my responsibility for what God has given me and to access them by faith in what is true.

I am sharing these resources in the youth group because of how revelatory they are about what we already have and who we are as God’s children.

This year we are in planning mode for our annual youth outreach event, EL RETO. This multi-week event will start in August and end in October, and we are asking for your prayers over it.

As a family, we are well. Two my of children will finish a level of schooling: Angel will graduate high school and head to university, and Otoniel finishes elementary school and is headed to junior high. Carolina will continue her studies for another year, thanks be to God.

As always, I thank you for your constant support in our lives. It is such a blessing to us, and without it our lives would be far more difficult because it has been the provision of God for our needs. The family Vazquez-Sicairos greets you. We hope you are well, and we always pray for you that the love you have shown us will be shown to you.

Blessings to you!

LETTER OF THANKS

Hey!!! Hello! I’m pleased to greet you in this report, and I hope it finds you well. I send you blessings, especially for your health. We, here, have been well, except for my father who is in delicate health and whose days appear to be numbered. He is dependent on oxygen to stay alive, and he becomes very distressed because of the difficulty he has breathing on his own, and for this reason he always has tanks of oxygen. I believe that his final days are near, but God continues to strengthen him through the prayers we offer on his behalf.

Brothers and sisters, I am staying busy. A good part of my time is spent with my father, helping him in his bed. I keep thinking about his end, and I’m trying to accept it, but I cannot. I have never lost a father, but with what I know about who God is and the hope He brings me, I bear this experience.

I have much to thank God for in what I have experienced and am experiencing, and also to thank you all for, especially your generous hearts in providing the money that is needed. Thank you, brothers and sisters.

I also give thanks to my leaders who never cease to encourage me. We meet together to learn the precious truths of God in His Word. This helps me to respond maturely to the circumstances that we are going through and to understand that God is holy.

Thank you brothers and sisters for your help, and I send you greetings of joy.

LETTER OF THANKS

Dear brothers and sisters.

It is a pleasure today for me to thank God and you all for all the help that has been poured out on me, for the investment of your time and financial support in the children's ministry. That has been a blessing by making it possible to purchase the materials required for the groups of kids in both Arrayanes and Cofradía.

I have been praying for our ministry to be more equipped, since we are in need of a projector in order to play the lessons in the children’s classes and to show movies or skits about the Bible.

We believe that God is in control over all the plans we have for the children’s ministry, leading us to develop deeper lessons that will prompt them to seek the things of God in their lives.

I thank you with all my heart for all the ways in which you have supported me. I love you, I appreciate you, and I care about you deeply as my friends.

Thank you, brothers and sisters, for what you are doing in my life. I always carry you in my heart; you are for me always an example of Jesus, and that fills me with joy and love.

Thank you for everything!

I send you greetings as your brother,

In the church, after construction of the roof. The church has been painted and electricity and ceiling fans are installed. Someone even bought us a new projector for our worship services.

We offered our location for the region’s pastoral training center for the training of new ministry members.

We celebrated the church’s seventh anniversary. It was a small, socially-distanced gathering due to the pandemic, which we are still battling.

We continue in regular discipleship through Cofradía Christian Center. We are currently enrolled in the course Spirit, Soul, and Body, which meets every Tuesday.

As far as church necessities are concerned, we still need to build men’s and women’s bathrooms and the storage room for all our sound equipment.

Regarding the Restoration Center, at the moment we have no residents. Parents have sought us out, and while some have been in discussions, others are still trying to figure out if they should admit their children. It is difficult to get a person to voluntarily admit themselves to a rehab center because of their experiences in past centers that were not Christian. But we are trusting that God will do the work in the hearts of those who are in need, giving them the courage to admit themselves and showing them his love while they are here.

We have a new member who is in the middle of staff training, and we believe he will be a strong addition to our team. He is from Guadalajara, and he previously worked at another Christian rehab center as the director of discipleship.

Someone donated a bunk bed. We still need two more and kitchen equipment.

We are still in negotiations for the purchase of land, and we ask for your prayers over that.
