Hello beloved brothers. It is with great pleasure and joy I write to this to you to express, among other things, my best wishes that you are well, as well as my sincere thanks for your generosity to us. Thank you dear brothers, thank you very much for the blessing of your donations.

I am also pleased to tell you that God continues to move through the faith of those who believe. I was able to see and participate in the construction of another house for needy families. Thanks to the compassionate and generous heart of many brothers of Washington working in unity with us in such a way that the movement of God moves us with his great love.

Brothers, I definitely see with breadth a complete picture and conclude that I have much to thank God for since my pastors are wise in guiding themselves and directing us with the precious Word as they look in it to make it clear how much God loves us and cultivating us in it and seeing how to bear precious fruit for the glory of Christ.

Brothers, in this year we seek to be united, to promote unity between churches, where by grace we are moved by the desire to make known the sacrifice of love for the lost to present a hope of life in Christ.

Thank you brothers, to tell you that Kenya finishes her nursing studies this year. Receive a greeting from María, my wife, and from me. Thank you for your financial support. Thank you, brothers. Greetings to all.

THANK YOU FOR BLESSING US

Report: 6.16.25

Hello, and blessings to you all.

We are Iglesia Comunidad de Asombro (Community of Wonder Church). We have been experiencing these last 6 months the power and the grace of God in our lives with the full recovery of our two sons who had cancer; God has totally healed them.

My wife Karla and I share the word in Mazatan, Mesillas, and in our local congregation in Las Varas with the conviction that God has shown us His faithfulness in these times of personal anguish. This has brought us to depend solely on God in everything we do.

Our outreaches in Mazatlán and Mesillas along with our local congregation in Las Varas have also been experiencing the power of the Word as it restores and changes lives. We all have seen evidence that the Word has power and transforms hearts. I believe there is still a lot to do and that this has barely started, but this work will He perfect in us. Although it has not been easy, the victory is ours. We have understood that God always takes care of those who believe in Him and He has upheld our lives every day teaching us that if we put Him first, all things work in our favor because God is faithful.

We are pastors Ruben and Karla. From the Las Varas, Nayarit. We thank you for your friendship and prayers. Thanks for your unconditional support!!

Pastors Jimmy Orozco and Perla
Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit

Report: 6.17.25

We began these past six months as a stronger FAMILY IN LOVE and with a supernatural confidence of what God will do in us here in Bahia de Banderas; we are not here for us, we are here for HIM and are focused on getting to know Him, making him known, and seeking HIS KINGDOM first!

As a CHURCH, we are based on the Love of God, seeking Maturity in Christ, and sharing the Word of God every SUNDAY.

On January 19, 2025, we officially started the Casa de Gracia  Congregation (House of Grace Congregation) of La Cofradia United in Bahia de Banderas, Nayarit, and our Pastors accompanied us.

We corporately seek the spiritual growth of the members of the Church of Christ. We are praying for the provision of land for the construction of a building for our congregation.

On WEDNESDAYS we have a PRAYER meeting time at our home. After  that we have a Bible Study. We have the task on the part of the Lord to grow in His Knowledge, that is Eternal Life. Our study is face-to-face and also via zoom. In the study we have finished the book - Spirit, Soul and Body by Andrew Wommack, Historical and Chronological Panorama of the Bible, and soon we will start The War is Over also by Andrew Wommack.

On THURSDAYS my family does a BIBLE STUDY at some friend's home as we fellowship together as brothers and friends in the Lord.

In SEPTEMBER we are preparing our annual HARMONY retreat. The Purpose is to have more light and understanding of everything we are and have in Christ; The Harmony of Glory in HIM.

We ask you to join us in prayer for:

  • A land for the Congregation.
  • GOD to send more workers to the harvest.
  • May we continue to grow in the Knowledge of HIM.

GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS

Pastors Rodrigo Romero and Annel
Cordero y Leon
Culiacán, Sinaloa

Report: 6.16.25

Best regards to all who read this report. We are pastors Rodrigo Romero and Annel Sánchez. We have 8 years of blessed marriage and with the longing to be able to be parents. Since our youth we have served the Lord with joy and dedication. Five years ago we started a congregation in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, called "Cordero y León" (Lion and Lamb). In these few years, we have preached the gospel in different parts of the city, serving especially in hospitals by bringing food and drink; accompanied first with the prayer of the sick and preaching of the gospel. Every year we schedule a missionary trip to the Sierra de Nayarit to a native community called "Cuare" of which they had never heard the message of Jesus. We bring clothes, food; toys and candy for children, medical care and medicines.

Our Vision is to found congregations in the most important cities of Sinaloa, so that leaders and missionaries that found congregations in the towns around the city come out of the same churches. In this way to be able to cover the entire State with the Gospel.

Just over 2 months ago we founded another "Cordero y León" congregation in another city called La Cruz, Sinaloa, Mexico. With great joy we are being surprised by the Grace of God. We are already constantly 50 adults and 20 children and we expect that soon we will grow more in this new mission.

In both congregations of Culiacán and La Cruz, we lack our own church building. Currently, we are meeting in houses. We know what our mission as a Church is. That is why we will continue with joy preaching the Gospel in season and out of season. It's always a good time for people to meet Jesus.

Four years ago we became part of "Cofradia United". We are very happy to have mentors and family who have blessed us with their love, support and wise advice. The expectation we have in God's plan is great and we pray to be able to see his wishes and fulfill them. Serving Christ is our whole life! Thank you for being with us. The congregations "Cordero y León" are here to serve you in anything that the gospel demands of you! (2 Timothy 4:1-8)

Mission: Take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth: planting, building and preserving the Church of Christ for the Glory of God the Father, in the Name of Jesus and under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Vision: Plant Churches in the largest cities of the State. Raising up missionaries, so that from the same congregations they go out to preach the Gospel to the peoples who surround them. So that, throughout the territory, the Message is announced.

The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each of you.
Blessings,

Pastors Ramon Ruíz and Zaida
Iglesia Libertad en Cristo
Tamarindo, Nayarit

Report: 6.16.25

(Note from Steve):

Pastor Ramon and Zaida are new to our ministry. We appointed them Cofradia United Pastors in March of this year after they came to us for guidance and support.

The Christian Church Freedom in Christ, located in the community of Tamarindo, Nayarit, which belongs to Cofradia United is five years old. It started with five people and now has reached to 25 members now. They have their worship meetings in a place that is rented month by month from the community to be able to have their worship services and bible studies.

Fifteen years ago I gave my life to Christ. When I was still living in the United States, the Lord disturbed my heart day by day for 8 years. When I returned to Mexico to serve in the gospel, showing me in a surprising way that the place and space where I was raised, the mission would be my town where I lived my childhood. I decided to obey the call and voice of God and in 2019 I came to live in my town. I started ministering in rehabilitation centers sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also did evangelism through the streets of nearby town and managed to form a group that I led for a while. In 2020 we raised the mission in a place where it was previously used as a tavern, but it pleased the Lord to make it a place where His name is worshiped and glorified.

For four years the place where we gathered was loaned to us, but since February of the current year they began to charge us rent. As a church we decided to work to raise funds and be able to buy land for our church building, which a brother who lives in the United States decided to sell us. We reached an agreement to pay him a certain amount every month, but in the end the Lord spoke to the heart of this person and he decided to donate the land to us. This land is a vacant lot where we will be able to move and have our worship meetings. Now we need the construction of a building. In May, we received a donation which was used to make the septic tank for the bathrooms.

Ministerially, in the period that covers from January to the month of June 2025, we have done bible studies together with members of the church, discipleship classes, and personal studies each week, the town has been   evangelized and we recently held a public outreach in the center of town.

The vision we have is to continue working for the Kingdom and never stop sharing His Word so that more souls are reached. We are collaborating in the community as Christians by sharing the Word of God and handing out food in rehabilitation centers, hospitals and supporting them with medicine.

We will continue to glorify the Lord and strive to fulfill the objective of constructing the building for our church family.

14th Year Celebration!

It has been 14 years since the inauguration of the new church building in February of 2011. The ministry in Cofradia began around 34 years ago with small bible studies, outreaches, and medical attention. In the past 30 years, we have evolved from our small beginnings to planting churches, building homes, feeding kids, and providing a place of belonging to 5 other churches in Nayarit and Sinaloa. Our most recent addition is Pastor Ramon and his wife Zaida. You can read about them here.

It was a wonderful time celebrating God's faithfulness through the years together. Here is a video clip of our time together:

Pastor Ramon and Zaida

Pastor Ramon and his wife Zaida have been ministering for the past 5 years in Tamarindo, Nayarit, just 25 minutes from Cofradía. They contacted us last year about wanting to join our ministry. Pastor Goyo and I sat down with them and prayed about it for a while before we made our decision. During our 14th year anniversary celebration, we prayed over them and officially included them into the Cofradia United Ministry along with their church who was in attendance as well.

Pastor Ramon and Zaida are excited to be a part of our ministry and we are excited to have them as well. Pastor Ramon speaks English after having lived in the states for 28 years where the Lord captured his heart while participating in a semi-professional band as a drummer. He quickly left what he was doing and followed the calling of the Lord on his life. He has a huge heart!

Pastor Ramon and his wife have been married for four years. More than 20 years ago, her sight began to fail and is now legally blind. Zaida helps with worship by playing the piano and sometimes preaches. They are a very special couple! Here is a quick video clip of photos Macx put together for us:

The church in Tamarindo, "Templo Libertad en Cristo" (Freedom in Christ Church), has been meeting in the unoccupied tavern in their town and are in need to relocate. A local from the congregation has donated property for them where they can build a church.

The future site of Tamarindo's Freedom in Christ Church

We are looking forward to helping them get this project completed so they can meet together on the own property without the concern of not knowing how long they can meet together in their current location. They have a few people in the congregation that have already donated some supplies. We want to help. Right now, anything will help. They will need thousands of dollars to complete the project.

If you are interested in coming down to help build, please let us know and we can put together a Short-Term Missions Construction team for this church. It would be a huge blessing! Or, if you have the time, come on down and spend a while to help them do as much as they can.

Please consider how you can help financially and be a blessing to our brothers and sisters in Tamarindo. Make a designated donation for "Tamarindo Church" either online or sending a check. Click here to see more details.

Thank you for being a blessing!

Casa de Gracia - Cofradia United Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit

Pastors Jimmy and Perla have opened a new church. Since being led to move to the Puerto Vallarta area in order to refocus their priorities, God has placed in their care another church. This was not their original plan, but as they took time to refocus, they worked to make ends meat with no ambitions of starting another church right away. Because of their lifestyle, they share Jesus with others, that's what they do. After just a few months, people wanted to know more so they opened a House Group in their home. A mixed group of family members and neighbors would meet each Tuesday night. Until the Holy Spirit started to work in these new believers' lives. They didn't want to go to any other church but one where Jimmy and Perla were pastors. After a long time of prayer, they have felt the Lord's leading to open "Casa de Gracia" (House of Grace) in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit.

We had the privilege of inagurating the church and speaking. The Lord continues to use Jimmy and Perla in a special way as they allow the Holy Spirit to lead them and teach them.

Casa de Gracia is a church plant and that is one of the focuses of our ministry at Cofradia United. They are currently renting this piece of property and are hoping to buy land and build...or buy an adequate building to call home for the church. Please consider how you would like to help them. Maybe the Lord leads you to come help them build??

If you would like to contribute financially, please designate your gift to "Casa de Gracia" or simply "Pastor Jimmy" here:

Pastors' Retreat 2025

Left to Right/Down: Pastor Jimmy and Perla, Pastor Amado and Lourdes, Pastor Rodrigo and Angel, Pastor Esteban and Geña, Pastor Ruben and Valeria
What a great time!

This year we spent two peaceful nights at some secluded cabins in Nayarit for our Pastors’ Retreat. The objective was met as they were able to Relax, Reflect, and Refocus. I believe deep down this is necessary for pastors; a time to step away for themselves, their marriage, and their ministry. Some of them came needing a rest, some of them came needing a refining focus, and others came needing encouragement. This year we talked about Vision. Vision for our personal lives, for our marriages, and for our ministries. It was a definite recharge for all of the pastors.

We spent the first day hanging around fellowshipping. After dinner we continued to relax around the campfire. The next morning, we talked about Personal Life Vision before breakfast and continued with Vision for our Marriage after a quick, fun game of Pictionary (the men let the women win, LOL). We spent some more time fellowshipping and reflecting in the afternoon/evening and ended the day around the campfire again. The final morning, we talked about ministry and future plans of the Cofradia United Ministry.

What an exciting, refreshing time! We’re already making plans for February of 2026. They unanimously said they really needed this time. One of my passions is to provide this time for them and guide them through the retreat. Geña and I saved all of the donations and offerings from churches and individuals we received over the summer for this retreat in addition to a generous donation from Vistoso Community Church in Tucson, AZ. Thank you so much!!

Please consider partnering with us to make next year possible. Our budget is $3,500 which includes the two nights at the “Cabañas Mis Amores” in Mazatan, Nayarit, all meals, materials, transportation, and gifts for each couple. Geña and I like to show our appreciation to them on behalf of the ministry of Cofradia United by giving them a small gift upon arrival. It is a very special time and thank you for being part of this!

Lead Pastors of Centro Cristiano la Cofradía United
Cofradia de Cuyutlán, Nayarit

Report: 12.16.24

Hello friends, I hope this letter finds you all well. I am thrilled to be able to send you my greetings and to have the opportunity to share with you all the vision for raising up leaders. In this process, the Lord has always been a major part of the growth of this ministry. Every Sunday of the year 2024, we have been focusing on solidifying the identity of the church (Romans 8:16-17) and making sure that God is the center of the work that is being done in this ministry of Centro Christiano Cofradia.

On Tuesdays, we have discipleship groups where a range of ten to eighteen people have been attending. The topic of discussion and focus has been on prayer. The material being used has been A Better Way to Prayby Andrew Wommack. Apart from these meetings, the Grace course from Freedom in Christ was partaken in by many individuals of the Church. The testimonies that were shared after the culmination of the Grace course revealed the importance of a life lived within the grace of God and how it can grant genuine rest.

One of the many things that have happened in the past year include coming into communion with prayer for people. We were invited to pray for a young lady who had issues with her identity. Days passed and it came to our attention that another woman was experiencing the same thing. After time in prayer and fellowship with them, they began to experience peace. The following Sunday, both ladies came to the Sunday service and were accompanied by their families. During prayer, there was a manifestation that presented itself in both young ladies and in the name of Jesus there was the authority to reprimand the enemy. After this occurrence, the ladies accepted Jesus into their hearts and now recognize Him as their Lord and Savior. Now, these women are free. There are groups hosted at these ladies' houses and both have been coming to church along with their families. What a blessing it has been.

As for the Cofradia Kitchen, there have been up to thirty-eight kids every weekday and have been receiving breakfast before leaving for school. Apart from feeding breakfast, there has also been the feeding of the spirit. There is the opportunity for sharing Bible stories and spending time in prayer. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, there has been a ten-minute Bible reading time set for the improvement of reading skills among the children who attend.

With my family things have been difficult. The reason being that my wife has been sick for the past fourteen months, but her health has recently been improving thanks be to God. I would like to express my gratitude to you all for the unconditional support which has been a great blessing for our lives. I also thank you all for your prayers, your friendship, and the love that you all have shared. These are always deeply valued.

            Hebrews 6:10

May the Lord bless you always and I would like to thank you again for the support you have shared through prayer, finances, and overall for doing it for the love of God.

Sincerely,
Gregorio Hernandez, Matilde Ezpinoza, and family.

Brothers and sisters, I send you greetings and I thank you all during these special times of celebration. The church is doing great thanks to God and I hope this letter also finds you all well.

We are always expressing gratitude for the love that brings us together through Christ. Thank you all for your financial support, we greatly appreciate it and it propels us to share the generosity shared with us to others so as to share with people the love of Christ. Without a doubt, this ministry has been fruitful in word and in deed. The church was blessed to be visited by a group from Washington along with our dearest friend Jay, always hard working and with enthusiasm. The group was encouraging in their maturity and in their strength. Again, thanks be to God for the blessing of a house that was provided for a family. It was moving to see what God does with His great love. It is a blessing to have the offering of grace and love from the Lord because His love is life and eternity.

Thank you, beloved brothers and appreciable families. We pray that in these times may the peace of Christ lead you all and may it not be disrupted. May every blessing be of healing, provision and joy.

Blessings and best regards from my wife Maria, my daughter Kenia, and from me an embrace, thank you.

We all have a very special relationship with our Father, and it will keep growing because it is the most important thing forever and always.❤️‍🔥

With my wife and I’s marriage, every day we are learning to love like our Lord. The kind of love that never ends, that forgives, and gives one confidence. 😌 Our kids have grown to know the Lord, the one who has known us since the beginning, and they are learning through reading the Bible and spending time in prayer. We have become stronger, and we venture toward getting closer to the goal!🙌✨

We give thanks to God for our pastors Steve and Geña Silberman for they have become an inspiration in our lives moving forward.

We are currently congregating in an incredible area in the Bay, San Juan de Abajo, Nayarit. The people are wonderful, and the pastor is a great teacher and mentor. He mentors us with our marriage. Ernesto and Katy are attentive to detail, and they have so much love towards us, which had been such a gift!

We are also currently in contact with our church family in Tepic. Alan and Carito are taking their time in their walk in what needs to be taken charge of.😊

We are currently living in Bahia de Banderas, Nayarit, and God, being faithful to his promises, has opened the doors for us to open our carport this past May for gatherings. Currently, there have been seventeen people saved and today they walk in new life. They have accepted the life of a beautiful relationship with the Lord. This is one of the many things that has been occurring in our place.

We also finished a project we call Scoop.❤️‍🔥 This project entails that at the beginning of the day from 6AM to 7AM through Zoom; we pray and indulge ourselves in the word of God from Genesis to Revelation. We were able to finish this project on December 29th of this past year, and it has changed our hearts.

Be faithful to His word and glory be to God!🙌✨ We are expecting great things from God this upcoming year of 2024 and we are excited to see how the year unfolds. We are prepared to know Him more and help others know Him through us.❤️‍🔥🙌

Blessings to all!

Pastors Rodrigo Romero and Annel
Cordero y Leon

Most Recent Report: 5.29.24

Greetings to all our brothers in Christ.

We are pastors Rodrigo Romero and Annel Sánchez. We have the privilege of serving the church “Cordero y Leon” (Lion and the Lamb) in Culiacan, Sinaloa. On August 21stthe church will have its 5thanniversary. In these five years of ministry, the Lord has shown us His faithfulness in every moment and circumstance. We have seen his healing hand working in the hearts of each person of the congregation.

In these last couple months, His goodness has been unwavering and present in every moment. We began the course of Freedom in Christ and there have been many individuals and couples who have found healing and are now searching for the Lord. Many families have been touched by the love of the Lord. A mother and daughter who have recently found the Lord have provided some of their land as a meeting place for the congregation. The church used to meet in the garage of the small house my wife and I rent, but the location needed to be changed because we no longer fit. The new location has given the opportunity to grow certain areas of the church such as the kid’s ministry, which is growing rapidly. Apart from this, the new location is closer to the “Hospital for Women” where we share the Word of God, pray for the sick, serve coffee and have food drives with blankets on colder nights.

The first weekend in July we will be traveling to the Sierra mountains of Nayarit to share the gospel with the people group of the “Cuare” (click here to read a little about them). Apart from preaching we will be providing medical support, medication, and vitamins as well as toys and candy for the children. There will be fifteen missionaries who will go, and the expenses of the rental van, food, and gas comes down to $1,600.00 dollars for all of us. We will be working on raising the money for this trip with high hopes and with the grand expectation of what the Lord will do in this trip.

----------------

UPDATE: HERE IS A VIDEO REPORT OF THEIR TRIP:

----------------

As for my wife and I’s own desires in our heart, we have been praying in our eight years of marriage to become parents. We are still trusting in the Lord. In faith, we have begun a fertility treatment. However, even though we currently do not have the economic resources to finance our treatment, we are still hopeful that the Lord will provide for all our needs.

We are all thankful for all our brothers and sisters in Christ who have taken the time to read this report. I pray that the Lord blesses you all in your spirit, mind and body. I share with you the verse that we have been ministering these past couple months.

“El que dice que permanece en él, debe de andar como él anduvo” (1 Juan 2:6)

“ Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:6)
