Each year we host a turkey dinner with the pastors of La Cofradia United as well as some local leaders. It is always a joy to come together and fellowship. Before we partake, I share a little about what Thanksgiving means in the USA and how two people groups (Indians and Pilgrims) celebrated their unity that day. We also give thanks for the gift of Immanuel as we celebrate together God coming to earth in human form in order to ultimately pay for our sins so our fellowship with God can be reconciled. What a wonderful gift! What a wonderful time!
