Dear brothers and sisters, greetings. I hope you all are well. We are blessed with good health, although we feel the age, we are well, thanks be to God. We also continue to thank you for the financial provision the Lord has provided for us through you. It is during these times, and these past couple months that my mind reflects on Christ’s love for me as well as His vital role in my life. The role being what it means to give Him my heart for His work and its fullness to guide me with his Word, understanding and obeying Him with peace. I have learned that His word is the truth, and no matter the arguments and legalisms that try to dim its light, it emerges in due time, bright and resplendent like pure gold, disproving all falsehood.
I am also thankful for the reuniting of a brother and sister in Christ who distanced themselves from the church and have regathered again with us. God spoke in our brother’s life by freeing him from death. He now testifies gratefully to God. I thank God for the brothers who accompanied him and assisted him in his needs. All of us who prayed saw God move in a very special way in him, reason for joy and now joy to worship Him in unity.
I am convinced that the love of Christ in us is and will always be the perfect motivator in purpose for our brief existence. I continue to see the generous work of others taking care of the needs of those who do not have housing revealing the great love of God. I have learned the importance of grounding ourselves in the love of Christ and bearing fruit as a witness for others, like a tree displaying them for others may benefit from the presence of love.
The Cofradia United is bound by love, has been, and will be for everyone who receives it. It challenges me to share with new believers to be disciples, to understand the great love for us and bear fruit in it. To build unity and be built in Christ there have been meetings in congregants' houses as well as other spaces.
Dear and beloved brothers and sisters, thank you for allowing me to see generosity through you and reveal what Christ does. Greetings from Maria, my wife. She has lately had serious problems with her eyesight. I have tried to get her medically checked out, but I continue to pray and take care of her with the patience and love Christ has given me. My daughter Kenia, who continues to prepare for her nursing profession, is working in a nearby hospital.
Blessings and thank you, for God is good, a big hug from me for each and every one of you.
HORACIO GARZÓN OROZCO
Lead Pastors of Community of Wonder
We are Iglesia Comunidad de Asombro (Community of Wonder Church). We have been experiencing these last 6 months the power and the grace of God in our lives with the full recovery of our two sons who had cancer; God has totally healed them.
House of Grace.
As a worker of the Lord, I have matured in many areas, one of the being the dependence on my Heavenly Father in everything I am and do. One of my desires is to devote more time to the work of the ministry, the reason being that I work much time outside of the ministry. I am thankful for His Grace! Our marriage is strong and seamless because in Christ we are complete and have life. We are focused on the glory of His name, Jesus, being one in Him by His grace! Our children continue to grow in the knowledge of Christ. That is one of my priorities as a father, and every day they are being instilled with the understanding of the purpose of being here on earth by His grace!
When I wrote to you last time, at the beginning of the year, we began with the ministry in La Bahía. The six months of this ministry have not been easy, but it has created great spiritual foundations. In our children's gatherings, we have been focusing on forgiveness, maturing, and the power of the word. On Wednesdays, there are gatherings in congregants' homes where we pray and study Andrew Wommack’s book, The War is Over. We believe that we are growing and maturing because God is preparing us for the continuation of His good plans for Bahia and Vallarta! On Thursdays, we join together in the house of our sister in Christ, Lily, for Bible study. During the end of September, we had our annual Harmony event. This year’s theme was Rest, and the theme's verse was Hebrews 4:10. It was a special time! At the end of the year, during Christmas time, we had a wonderful time because our pastors accompanied us.
Help us pray for economical provision in order to dedicate more time to working in the ministry. We are also looking for land purchase for a building to be made or even to purchase a place that already has an establishment for the congregation to meet. We are hoping to stop renting due to rent in our area being very expensive!
Thank you for your prayers!
Let us stand firm, without hesitation, in the hope of the faith we profess, because God will fulfill the promise he has made to us.
Hebrews 10:23
(Note from Steve):
Pastor Ramon and Zaida are new to our ministry. We appointed them Cofradia United Pastors in March of 2025 after they came to us for guidance and support.
From the church “Libertad en Cristo”- Freedom in Christ, Pastor Ramon Ruiz.
God is working in a special way in our congregation such is his work in the people of the church as well as in my life as a pastor, strengthening us spiritually and giving more knowledge of His word through studies, teachings, and from counsel from our leaders. We have supported other churches in activities such as evangelisms, camps, and youth events sharing the message of the transformative power of Christ.
The church has been learning and working towards unity and spiritual growth with vision, the construction of a building for us to meet and have our services. God has been good because he has touched hearts and we have been given property and have been provided with the construction of a septic tank. Our next objective is the construction of the bathrooms and the sanctuary, the reason being that our services are meeting in a rented location.
