Casa de Gracia, Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit

Pastors Jimmy and Perla joined our ministry in 2019 when they were going through a difficult time in their marriage and family life. After having been in ministry almost a decade as soon as they got married, the ministry became a higher priority than it should have which led to a number of issues they needed to deal with. At the beginning of 2022, they handed their church over to their leaders and decided to take some time off to reorganize their priorities and nurture their relationship with each other, their children, and the Lord.

 

In January of 2025 after leading bible studies for a couple of years in their own neighborhood, they opened "Casa de Gracia" (House of Grace) by the request of those they had been teaching. By this time, they had learned to follow the leading of the Spirit and maintain healthy priorities in their marriage and family. Both of them felt like it was time to return to pastoring.

 

Jimmy and Perla have three children and one older young man that is married who was an orphan that they raised since he was an adolescent. I cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and Perla. They are an example to follow. Their love for God, for each other, their children, and people is genuinely authentic. They are a pleasure to be around and an enormous blessing and encouragement in our team of pastors. 

 

Their church is located in Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, just minutes from Puerto Vallarta. It is a vibrant, alive church where everyone makes you feel welcome. Apart from their Sunday services, they meet mid-week for a dicsipleship class where they are currently learning about "Freedom in Christ" and they also speak at a home-group in Nuevo Vallarta made up of people from different congregations.

 

At the moment, they are renting a walled open space for their meetings. Their desire is to have their own property and own building in the near future. They have their eyes on some property, but are waiting for God's provision to move forward.
